The Fashion & Luxe accelerator : the support program dedicated to companies in the sector
Bpifrance and the three Professional Economic Development Committees of the sector (DEFI, Francéclat and CTC) have joined forces to launch a Fashion & Luxury Accelerator Program.
31 companies chosen for their potential participated in the launch of this new accelerator during the 5th edition of Bpifrance Inno Generation on October 10, hosted by the promotion sponsor and Guillaume DE SEYNES, Chairman of the Fashion & Luxury Division's Strategic Committee.
The fashion sector is one of the economic pillars of France. With an increase in recent years of more than 154 billion euros, this sector, which initiates a new generation of entrepreneurs to enter the market, is one of the most promising in France. The Fashion and Luxury Accelerator is 12 months of support but also of networking within a collective of entrepreneurs and accelerated companies, individual follow-up by a dedicated project manager, training (6 days of face-to-face seminars and 1 e-learning course) and in-depth diagnosis adapted to the challenges to identify priority development areas.
One of the priorities of the Strategic Committee of the sector wishing to support SMEs in their sustainability is to help them improve their competitiveness on the market.
We are very proud because this is the first accelerator project in the sector to come to fruition, explained Guillaume DE SEYNES, Chairman of the Sector Strategic Committee, President of Hermès and Chairman of the Colbert Committee. We believe very much in the creative power of these actors in the fashion and luxury sector. In an established home, a creator can transform things with his or her ideas and unfailing creativity. All the leaders who are taking part in this acceleration project are present because they have been identified and selected for their dynamism. Bpifrance wish to give the opportunity to go further and faster by accelerating their growth because we are convinced that among them there are champions who will shine in the next ten years.“
