Morocco–France Business Forum 2030 : showcasing Franco-Moroccan economic cooperation
On 15 April 2026, Casablanca became a key hub for Franco‑Moroccan economic dialogue. As part of the Parcours Business International Morocco–France 2030, the Business Forum brought together nearly 450 investors, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs and public decision‑makers to accelerate partnerships around the Kingdom’s major structuring projects.
A Flagship Moment of the Parcours Business International Morocco–France 2030
The forum marked the cornerstone of the Parcours Business International Morocco–France 2030, held from 14 to 16 April 2026. Bringing together a Bpifrance delegation of 21 French companies and the Moroccan business ecosystem, it offered a high‑level platform for exchange and deal‑making, completed by the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between Bpifrance and CDG Capital. Meriem Laraichi, Director of Development at CDG Capital, underlined that: “The co-organisation of the forum constituted a major milestone, marking the first tangible activation of the partnership with Bpifrance.” This partnership aims to co-finance projects, bring together financial and industrial expertise, and structure long-term cooperation in support of companies in both countries.
Advancing Morocco’s Development Priorities
Discussions focused on the Kingdom’s strategic priorities with infrastructure, energy transition, industrial development, finance and sustainability emerging as core pillars of Morocco’s ambitions for 2030. Hicham Lasfar, Head of the Communications Department at ANEP, stressed the expectation for strong partnerships between Moroccan and French companies: “to foster innovation, creativity, technological advancement, digitalization, and improved project management in the delivery of public infrastructures.”
From Dialogue to Business Opportunities
Beyond high-level discussions, the forum also translated into concrete business outcomes. with 35 targeted B2B meetings organised to help French and Moroccan companies explore synergies and initiate high‑potential business deals.
According to Lydie de Acarregui, Managing Director France & Business Line Europe – Static Refrigeration Leasing, Petit Forestier, the forum plays a key role by bringing together French companies operating in or entering the Moroccan market and by facilitating dialogue with local stakeholders to better address their needs.
Sofiane-Henri Henocq, founder and CEO of the start-up Tickie, a member of Les Meneurs welcomed the role played by Bpifrance in the success of the mission: “Thanks in particular to the delegation, the local Chamber of Commerce here in Morocco, and Bpifrance, we were able to identify several highly promising collaborations.”
A Forward‑Looking Partnership
The Morocco–France Business Forum 2030 reaffirmed the strength of bilateral economic relation, embedded in trust and shared growth ambitions, at a pivotal moment for the Kingdom’s transformation agenda. “French companies are invited to join this endeavor and contribute to the dynamic growth momentum shaping development towards 2030,” said Oussama Lachhab, Director of Finance, Governance and Procurement at ONCF.
