Another year of cooperations and signatures for the French public Bank for entrepreneurs

2023 marks another year of international cooperation and partnerships for Bpifrance all in favor of facilitating entrepreneurship.

Signature of a cooperation agreement with Serbia

On October 5th  2023, Bpifrance held the 9th edition of Big, Europe’s largest business gathering. On that occasion, the French bank for entrepreneurs, Bpifrance, and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia signed a Memorandum to bring together innovators from both countries through technological and business opportunities.

Both parties will particularly cooperate to promote exchanges and partnerships in three main areas: Innovation and Biotechnologies, Artificial Intelligence solutions and Technical Assistance for the development of innovation ecosystem.

MoU signed with Kobo Hub (RDC)

Also during Big 9, Bpifrance signed with Kobo Hub, an entrepreneurship and innovation accelerator in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through this strategic partnership agreement, Bpifrance will support Kobo Hub in redefining its operational strategy in line with its fast-growing business.

MoU signed with Ecole 42

Agreement signed between Bpifrance and Ecole 42, Xavier Niel’s school that allows a singular and new approach on learning and most specifically on IT and coding. This partnership aims for both parties involved to join forces in contributing to the construction of successful entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems on the international stage, particularly in Africa.

To this end, Bpifrance and Ecole 42 may propose to bring companies/investors together via the Bpifrance’s EuroQuity platform, and to offer training via Ecole 42 in the existing locally based Campuses 42 and in those that Ecole 42 may create.

Bpifrance signed a MoU with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea headquartered in Seoul.

Under the MoU, the two institutions will work together to support Korean and French SMEs, startups and innovative companies, and share knowledge on financing and business initiatives. IBK and Bpifrance will also exchange on the results of the economic research they both drive.

IBK has recently stepped up its efforts to help domestic startups expand into overseas markets by linking with different programs like the « IBK Changgong Global (Silicon Valley) Acceleration Program », and the « IBK Changgong Global (Europe) Acceleration Program » in collaboration with different actors.
