From now on Bpifrance counts five communities. La French Care, the brand-new community, is added to La French Fab, La French Tech, La French Touch and Le Coq Vert. Antoine Tesnière, President of La French Care Support Movement and Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance, have inaugurated the white rooster on the 17th of February. The new community gathers French public and private actors from the healthcare field, which employed 2,6 million people in 2019. “Reuniting all the French actors from the healthcare and promoting together the excellence of the French system is our joint goal. By removing the partition from the different sector, a collective energy would be possible”, explains Nicolas Dufourcq. From Medtech, pharma-related services and digital health to nutrition and education & research, La French Care encourages interactions between players from those different sectors to create synergies, boost innovation and promote their strengths. According to an economic study led by La French Care, the added value of the French healthcare has reached €163 billion in 2019, which represents 6.7% of the GDP. The white rooster community thus hopes to support and to develop this major sector to reveal its ecosystem’s potential and ambitions.
