Bpifrance was the principal sponsor of a 3-day mission focused on innovation and urban development, organised by Medef International in Rabat and Casablanca.

32 French companies, startups, SMEs and large groups, took advantage of this program to better understand the opportunities of the Moroccan market, or to strengthen their presence on the African continent.

From the 28th to the 30th of October, companies were able to establish new business relationships, share their experiences, and confront their knowledge of the Moroccan market. Many meetings and discussions took place with representatives of the Moroccan society, led by Fabrice Le Saché, vice-president and spokesman of the Medef.

Among them, meetings with public and private decision-makers, officials, mayors of large cities and regions, and members of the government, were particularly appreciated. Networking sessions with private companies, workshops, and site visits like the one at MAScIR, are also some of the highlights of the business trip.

Why Morocco ?

Benefiting from a very dynamic economy, close to Europe and orientated towards Africa, Morocco has been pursuing a real strategy for several years, to move up the range and diversify its production in industry, a sector where opportunities for French companies are numerous. Moreover, the Government is currently working for a stronger regionalization, with ambitious urban development plans, representing strong business opportunities and partnerships with our Moroccan counterparts!
