Multi-year plan
Three-year multi-year plan
Introduction
Decree No. 2019-768 of July 24, 2019, relating to the accessibility of online public communication services for people with disabilities, published on July 25, 2019, determines the accessibility obligations for agent sites and the site www.bpifrance.com.
Accessibility in Bpifrance's digital strategy
Digital accessibility is at the heart of concerns related to the development and availability of websites or mobile applications for both our customers and our internal staff, thus contributing to Bpifrance's policy of integrating people with disabilities.
What is digital accessibility?
An accessible website is one that allows people with disabilities to access its content and functionalities without difficulty. An accessible site, for example, allows:
- Navigation with a screen reader and/or a braille display (mainly used by blind and visually impaired people).
- Customizing the site's display according to one's needs (enlarging text, changing colors, etc.).
- Navigating without using a mouse (using only the keyboard, via a touch screen, by voice, or any other adapted device).
To achieve this, the site must comply with the standards in effect during its creation and updates.
Corrective measures
- All non-compliances identified by the audit or quick check will be classified according to their severity level: blocking, major, minor. Blocking issues will be addressed as a priority, as well as those identified as quick and easy to correct.
- For each issue, a team responsible for its correction will be identified. Standardized correction requests will be created for them.
Annual action plans
Accessibility compliance work and actions in favor of digital accessibility are planned annually in action plans.
We have developed a multi-year plan aimed at improving the accessibility of our website. This plan includes the following steps:
- Use disabled personas to check the criteria of the quick audit according to RGAA.
- Correct non-compliances.
- Conduct an accessibility audit of the site.
